The 10-year portion applies to defined structural coverage. It is not blanket coverage for every item in the home. Eligibility, enrollment, exclusions, warranty standards, claim procedures, and all other terms are controlled by the written warranty agreement.
Responsibility by coverage period
The administrator and warrantor are not the same role.
Years 1–2
American eWarranty administers the program. Under the standard Better Builders agreement, Better Builders serves as the warrantor for applicable workmanship, materials, and systems coverage during the first two years.
Years 3–10
The insurer becomes the warrantor for applicable structural coverage involving defined load-bearing warranted structural components.

No. The ten-year portion applies to qualifying major structural defects involving defined load-bearing warranted structural components. It is not a blanket ten-year warranty on every item in the home.
Is the warranty limited to homes outside city limits?
No. Better Builders can include the program with eligible new-home projects inside or outside city limits. The specific home must be eligible and enrolled.
Who administers the warranty?
American eWarranty administers the program. Under the standard Better Builders agreement, Better Builders is the warrantor during years one and two, and the insurer becomes the warrantor during years three through ten for applicable structural coverage.
What document controls the coverage?
The warranty issued for the specific home controls. Its eligibility requirements, warranty standards, exclusions, claim procedures, dispute provisions, and other terms take precedence over any website summary.
